I am so sick of hearing from actors and parents of child actors and teens about being scammed by these so called acting/commercial/modeling schools. I mean thousands and thousands of dollars for these… “We will make you a star” b.s. schools. A legitimate acting school is just that - only a school, or a studio, or a conservatory, e.t.c. Meaning, headshots and representation (managers & agents) SHOULD NOT BE PART OF THE SAME COMPANY AS THE SCHOOL. It is against SAG rules for an agent to also coach and take your headshots… this is not kosher… Professional acting classes here in L.A. DON’T USUALLY COST ANY MORE THAN $300.00 PER MONTH with professional kids classes being even less, and these numbers are the highest numbers. So beware! If it sounds to good to be true, it is. These scam artists promise everything and provide nothing!
